Companies have formal processes for most functions and tasks. However, very few organisations have a conscious process to build their corporate culture. Culture just happens. It is only when some undesired behaviour is noticed, the leadership becomes aware of the need to consciously shape the culture.

The third phase is about institutionalising the culture by aligning all the practices, processes, and the systems.
